About This Course
The First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification is the full HSE-compliant first aid certificate, required by law for designated first aiders in most UK workplaces. This 3-day course provides comprehensive training in emergency first aid procedures, equipping your team with the knowledge and confidence to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies.
Our qualified trainer comes to your workplace, bringing all necessary equipment including CPR manikins, AED trainers, and first aid materials. The course combines practical skills with underpinning knowledge, ensuring all participants are fully competent and confident.

This course is suitable for anyone who has been appointed as a workplace first aider, or anyone who wishes to hold the full first aid qualification. It is particularly relevant for:

Course Delivery
The course is delivered over 3 consecutive days at your workplace. Our trainer brings all equipment and materials. Assessment is through practical observation and a short written paper. Certificates are issued on the final day and are valid for 3 years.
Legal Requirements
Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, employers must ensure adequate first aid provision. The FAW qualification meets the full HSE requirements for designated first aiders and is recognised by all major insurers and regulatory bodies.
